An "Acted" Pre-wedding shoot with Joel & Diana

My Inspiration for today's post is LOVE. Love has several definitions and everyone has  a meaning or two attached to it. It's a deep feeling of affection and solicitude for another person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of oneness. This is a definition most dictionaries give.

In my own world and mere understanding, Love is a "crazy" feeling, it makes you do the impossible. It's all about sacrifices and accepting the flaws of the other. It's knowing and accepting the past of another, no one is perfect. Love is UNCONDITIONAL.

 I got this beautiful damsel, hidden in the shadows of this picture, to portray that affection and make it speak, for me a picture says more than a thousand words.

 Joel and Diana are two friends from different parts of the world. Joel is Nigerian and Diana is Kenyan. Though they are not a couple, but they show how much affection can be shared between two individuals from different backgrounds and sex.

I got Joel and Diana to act a "Pre-wedding" shoot for me, and both of them pulled the act so well. It was all natural. Love doesn't have to be given to your Man or Woman alone. You can love all, friends, family, the society.

It was fun shooting them both. Fun day!!

Photo Session with Saidu Mubarak

Trying so hard to keep up with my blog, but it's a bit difficult to...been so caught up lately. Had a little bit of photo session, (wouldn't exactly call it that) with my friend @skindu yesterday. We were both messing around with our cameras. Cool to have a friend who is in love with cameras as well. 

These are unaware shots of Mubarak. He was so into his camera and I had his shots taken. He shows so much passion for photography. 

Adebimpe and Olamide's Introduction.

This is going to be my first wedding related photography.

It was fun shooting at Bimpe and Olamide's introduction. Don't really know much about the couple *sad*... She got to know about me through a friend and my blog, referral I must say is a great part of this business. I met Bimpe the morning of her introduction and we got chatting like we've known ourselves long before now. She's a really fun bride and Olamide is a lucky man to have her.

An interesting thing about the couple is that they met via social network (Facebook). Wow!!! it's rare to meet your soul mate via social networks. Not everyone gets lucky.

Today's post is focusing more on the bride......

Mariam's Birthday Dinner.

It was a wimpy affair with the girls. (25th of April).

I met mariam just a day before her birthday.  We got talking and she told me about her birthday dinner. Hmmm sounded fun and I decided to accept the offer to be present at her birthday dinner.  It was fun hanging with the girls. And I must say it was a lovely night out with Mariam. She's pretty,  cool and down to earth. Happy belated birthday once again dear :*
